Sept 13 - West Coast BJJ Championship. SFC member Paul Fitzpatrick wins silver medal.
Sept 27 - MVP 08 - 1st Annual Amateur MMA Championship. Hosted by Victory Christian Centre, promoted by Suitela Fight Club and Honour Combat. Team Suitela members Jordan Milne and Jonathan Agnew make their MMA debut.
Oct 4 - Eddie Bravo seminar. Aprox. 10 Team Suitela members will be in attendance.
Oct 10,11,12 - Kyokushin Black Belt Conference, Banff, Alberta. Dean Bawtinheimer, chief instructor, Suitela dojo, successfully attains 3rd degree black belt. K1 heavy weight champion Francisco Filho was on the commitee testing Sensei Dean.
Oct 25 - Raw Combat: Redemption, Calgary. Main Event Denis Kang vs Marvin Eastman. 145 lbs World title fight Len Tam vs Bibiano Fernadez. Jordan Bills vs Hardeep Singh.
Update : Jordan forced to drop out due to injury while sparring. Len Tam came in prepared but got triangled in the first round by the 5 time world jiu jitsu champion.
Nov 8 - Master Carlos Gracie Jr / Professor Marcio Feitosa Seminar. Suitela fight team got some promotions during the seminar. Congrats.
